We are proud to offer a vibrant and engaging band program where students develop their musical skills, build lifelong friendships, and experience the joy of making music together. Whether you’re a student, parent, or guest, this site is your one-stop hub for everything band — from calendars and forms to news, media, and resources. Together, we’re building a community that celebrates growth, teamwork, and excellence in music. We’re so glad you’re here!
Dear Ensemble Parents,
I hope you are well!
All morning ensemble rehearsals for Great Bridge Brass, Flute Choir, and Wildcat Winds have officially concluded for the year following our Spring Recital last week. The students did a fantastic job, and we’re incredibly proud of their hard work and growth this season!
I also want to apologize for any confusion caused by outdated information in the GBMS Wildcat Weekly calendar, which showed upcoming rehearsal dates. I’ve already resolved that conflict to avoid future confusion.
To celebrate the students' dedication and accomplishments, we’ll be planning a small morning party in June. I’ll send out details as soon as we finalize a date and time.
Thanks again for your continued support, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Best regards,
E. Graybill, B. Glosser, T. Rooksby
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce that our upcoming 6th and 7th Grade Band Concert will have a special theme: FIRE!
As part of the fun, students are encouraged to dress up in fire-inspired colors or costumes to match the theme. Students can participate in as simple or as extravagant as they'd like.
Here are some easy, concert-appropriate ideas:
Wear red, orange, yellow, or black clothing
Add a flame accessory (hat, scarf, hairpiece)
Dress as a firefighter, dragon, campfire, or anything fire-themed
Keep it safe, school-appropriate, and comfortable for playing their instrument
Please note: Students do not need to wear their usual concert black attire for this performance. The goal is to have fun with the theme and build excitement for the concert!
Concert Details:
Monday, May 27
Great Bridge High School Auditorium
Students must be seated and ready by 6:45 PM — this is our official tardy time. Concert begins at 7:30 PM
There's no need to go buy anything new — even just a red shirt adds to the energy! We want students to feel excited and involved in the performance.
Thank you for supporting your young musicians. We can't wait to see them light up the stage!
Sincerely,
Mr. Glosser and Mr. Graybill
